Dates and times

It's time!

The Brussels Dance Festival welcomes you from Thursday 14 to Sunday 24 August 2025.
We are open every day from 3 pm to 10 pm Some experiences may last until 1 am Discover the times and details of the various activities in our program.

Locations

The city vibrates. The city dances.

Two large open-air stages:
– Place de la Bourse – Fusion Stage: From emerging artists to established names, the Fusion Stage brings together music and dance. With renowned schools, DJs and collectives, it reflects the full diversity of styles.

– Place De Brouckère – The Lab: This will be a dance arena, designed as a space for encounters and experiments. For ten days, workshops, battles and free dance floors will be organised on Place De Brouckère. You can come to learn, try things out, exchange ideas, push your boundaries or just vibrate together. Whether you are an experienced dancer, a passionate amateur or just curious, there is something for everyone.

But there’s also… performances on the Grand-Place, dancing walks through the city, afterparties on the roof of Bourse (Belgian Beer World), Arts At Night, projections at the cinema Palace, urban installations…

Immerse yourself in our EXTRA experiences and take your Brussels Dance Festival experience to the next level!

Mobility

Get moving!

The festival is accessible on foot and by public transport.
We encourage the use of soft mobility:

  • Use the Floya app to get around Brussels
  • Train: Brussels Central Station is strategically located in the city centre. We therefore strongly recommend that you use public transport to get to the event.
During the weekend, there is a 50% discount on return train journeys (from Friday 7 p.m. to Sunday). Train users also have access to the station car parks at a reduced rate. For more information, visit www.belgiantrain.be
  • Metro, tram and bus nearby: The numerous public transport services available for the Brussels Dance Festival are a great advantage in terms of accessibility. From Central Station, Bourse and De Brouckère stations, you can take metro lines 1 and 5, trams 10 and 4 and buses 29, 33, 46, 71, 89 and 95 to the heart of the event. You don’t even need to buy a ticket in advance – you can simply travel with your bank card. Scan your bank card, smartphone or connected watch on the grey validator and hop on!
The metro stations Central Station, Bourse, De Brouckère and Sainte-Cathérine are equipped with lifts so that people with reduced mobility can easily reach the heart of the event. For more information, visit www.stib-mivb.be
  • Car: If no other alternative is available, the event is still accessible by car. Park your car in one of the Interparking car parks outside the Pentagon, a 15-minute walk from the event: Rogier, Poelaert, Entre 2 portes, Loi and Passage 44.
The Interparks Ecuyer and Monnaie have adapted parking spaces and lifts.

Inclusivity and diversity

We are committed!

The Brussels Dance Festival is committed to reflecting the diversity of our society through an inclusive artistic programme.

We want to create a space where all spectators feel welcome, represented and celebrated. Certain events are specially designed to highlight queer cultures, such as the voguing battles, drag shows and ‘All About Love’. A care team will also be present during these moments of the festival to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

The festival also collaborates with Créahm to include disabled artists in the programme.

Public space

We respect!

We are aware of our responsibilities in public spaces. That is why we are organising an enhanced cleaning operation in collaboration with the municipal services. Throughout the festival, awareness campaigns will be held to encourage people to act in an environmentally friendly manner.

Artists

KRISY & LEJEUNE CLUB

LEJEUNE CLUB is a creative hub and a vibrant community that brings people together and inspires them through meaningful experiences, events, and projects.

2MAD

2MAD is a dance studio with locations in Charleroi and Sombreffe since 2009. The school provides a wide range of lessons with something to suit everyone. Today, it brings you a Zumba session.

CRC

Following La Pluie (Act I) in 2023 then Pleurez! (Act II) a year later, CRC is releasing a shorter but crucial format for his artistic evolution: L’Entracte. This five-track project produced by Armand Tournier presents as a true intermission, hinting at a future Act III.

Much more than an interval, L’Entracte marks an important step in the Belgian rapper’s journey. Here CRC explores his personal relationships with new depth and sincerity in his work.

Musically, he skilfully combines rap, chanson française, R&B and afro influences, confirming his ability to cross and fuse genres. After gracing the stages of the Dour and Grünt Festivals and twice filling the Ancienne Belgium concert hall in late 2024, CRC is now preparing for Act III. L’Entracte is the bridge: an intimate and essential auditory experience in today’s French-language rap landscape.

Lovelace

A young Brussels-based artist, Lovelace is part of the new alternative pop scene. She creates her unique sound in her bedroom-cum-studio, weaving a dark thread of soft, robotic and distorted sounds.

Her work is a true audio cocktail in the style of Billie Eilish, 070 Shake and Babysolo33. Lovelace has long been a lover of life, which makes her overly cheerful sometimes. Unfortunately, that love constantly clashes with the absurdity of this world. A little self-deprecation, lots of love and much melancholy are her formula for surviving the chaos.

Junior Ballet Project

The Junior Ballet Project (JBP) from the company Opinion Public is an intensive programme for dancers aged 17 to 25. Designed as a practical career platform, it immerses participants in a company-like working environment, developing the technical, artistic and interpersonal skills they need to grow as performers.

Launched by the company’s artistic director Sidonie Fossé in September 2024, the two-year programme provides daily training from Monday to Friday: a demanding syllabus of classical dance, contemporary dance, partnering, floorwork, acrobatics and improvisation, as well as other complementary disciplines emphasizing versatility, creativity and artistic maturity.

Throughout the year, the dancers also join performances, giving them regular opportunities to go on stage and apply what they have learnt before an audience.
