The Detours Festival has established itself as a must-attend event for urban dance and swing enthusiasts. Every year, it creates a unique space where different styles come together, fostering rich exchanges between dancers from all backgrounds. This edition will shine a spotlight on Swing culture through a competition open to all styles, set to jazz music, allowing participants to express themselves freely. The Gaspard Six Quintet, a group of five talented musicians, will bring the event to life with live music, creating a festive and uplifting atmosphere. In collaboration with Jazz Maniacs, an iconic swing group, we will offer a captivating show celebrating the energy and passion of this dance. To close the festival, an open stage will invite everyone to try their hand at Charleston and Lindy Hop in pairs. It will be the perfect opportunity to discover this dynamic dance style, with introductory sessions and cyphers encouraging interaction, connection, and exchanges between all participants.
