Pair of Waacks is Belgium’s first waacking collective, bringing together international members with a shared passion for waacking and its culture. Waacking is a dance style that originated in the LGBTQ+ clubs of 1970s Los Angeles. Known for its expressive arm movements, musicality, posing and individuality, waacking is more than just a dance style, it is a form of self-expression rooted in freedom, identity and community. POW is committed to keeping this culture alive and making waacking more accessible in Belgium. They give workshops and regular classes in Brussels and across Belgium, while creating spaces for dancers to learn, connect, express themselves and grow.
