Come enjoy a dance lesson with Thamaanii Artistes followed by an open dance floor where you can put what you've learned into practice at your own pace. Experience a full immersion into Jamaican culture at Brussels Dance Festival. RIDDIM invites you to discover Dancehall through two complementary experiences: a participatory workshop led by professional dancers, and a high-energy evening performance featuring a DJ, MC and dancers on stage. Open to all audiences, from complete beginners to experienced enthusiasts. Born in Brussels, RIDDIM is the result of the collaboration between two Brussels-based artists, DJ Septik and Piccolo, in a city where Dancehall culture continues to grow and bring together a passionate community.

About the artist

Tiny House is a Brussels-based organization dedicated to Afro-Caribbean cultures, founded by DJ Septik. Specializing in the promotion and dissemination of Dancehall and Afrobeats culture, Tiny House develops artistic projects at the intersection of music, culture, and events. Thamaanii is an artistic agency founded by an artist for artists. Created by dancer and choreographer Hervé Loka, also known as Piccolo, it supports and develops talent in the fields of dance and performing arts. Together, Tiny House and Thamaanii have joined forces around the concept of RIDDIM, an immersive dance and musical experience inspired by Jamaican culture.
